MYSTICAL LAND – BALI

Sorry for delay on updating my article. Busy lately….yeah working whatelse.

I can’t remember when the last trip to Bali is. The culture, peaceful people, harmony place really keep popping-up to my brain.

I remember Jimbaran Beach, full of luxury beach café with foreigners drinking liquor and enjoying their sunset view while the other side of the road, local people pushing trishaw selling “bakso and babi guling” hehehe.

My mind keep remember this local lady putting Bali (Sewing coconut’s leave as square plate accompany with several flowers and serve as ritual gift to God) to the seashore; her struggling face & depress look (maybe due to the daily hard work), looking directly to the sunset. I go straight to her, and ask what she request from her god. She said that it’s enough for her being healthy, can find enough money & food on that day just for her family. She prays and thank god for giving Bali as tourist destination, and let her survive for another day by selling all the small goodies & candies to the tourist. Emmh, that simple huh!!!...That the 1st time I saw a lady putting that bali to the sea, most of them serve/praying at “Pura” (Temple)

When look at the beach…emmh great café indeed with the entire life band fuhh!! damn good one.
Gap of lifestyle..fuhh…that’s life man - whole bunch of rich & famous versus…what? Huhh!!

I remember went to the volcano….its beautiful; I cannot remember the place, the journey quite a while tho…yupp manage to see the cremation ceremony of the death by local people… well whatelse in Bali…everything is ritual. One most interesting part is about a village located near the foot of the volcano. Local people describe that village being open by group people solely appointed by the Dewa Kayangan. If people died in that village, their body will not be eaten by any maggot/insect and won’t stink – Not buried just put it to a shelf/or a wood layer (Not coffin either). Any outsiders who think or trying to enter that village will get curse from God or Dewa Kayangan it’s a taboo for local. Emmh..very interesting story.

The countryside is refreshing and very clean, I feel that..hey its Malaya during 1800s ..heheheh!

Hmmh..mystical people in mystical land….but now..I’m busy. Will update later.
