WAG THE DOG

I saw the above movie somewhere on Yr 2000 or 2001; it’s about group of consultant that is working for the US President/so called President’s “Think Tank” and if I’m not mistaken that story is based during Clinton Scandal with Lewinsky – How this “Think Tank” maneuvers the scandal to war episode in Kosovo/Albania. Great actors – academy award winner Dustin Hoffman, Robert Deniro and several more supporting roles which include Willie Nelson as well. These “Think Tank” working 24/7, not even one of them Republican or Democrat i.e. totally independent consultant.

In Malaysia, the current hot topic discusses either in Coffee Shop, Mamak Store or 5 star hotels is all about Anwar’s Sodomy Act. Public perception i.e. NO! Never! Conspiracy! Stupid Govt! Stupid IGP! Crazy AG! False! Threat to Nation! Repeated Accusation! bla..bla..bla….so most citizen will said that is mad accusation …except for those UMNO hardcore fan club & their leaders….so + -, citizen of 27 Million less 100K (Hardcore Umno & leaders) and less another million of confuse people like me, so: 27M-100K-1M = 25.9 Million people believe that Anwar is innocent.

Back to the film above, pop-up to my mind the film “Wag the Dog”. Why?
My theories as follows:
1)Is the government behind this? That means they were so dumb. i.e. Repeated accusation which has not been proven and drop by high court is the most stupid things to do and I don’t think Govt that stupid or maybe la….so many dumb idiot up there..hehhehe!.
2)Govt trying to divert public attention, checkmate opposition and stop Anwar ambitious dream from becoming reality thus covering the current issues of uncontrolled escalation of groceries & products cost, Oil for food, KJ, C4 connection etc.
3)Anwar trying his best to make him popular by giving so many statement of BN defection, EM MP jump ship, ..new govt on Sept 16th etc, yet most public still skeptical on his agenda.
4)Anwar’s most obvious strategy is to gain international recognition/support, public/citizen sympathy and support, i.e. by creating similar event like 1998, it shows pure BN govt weaknesses – bias system, judiciary, AG, Police Force etc.
5)Neither either Opposition “Think Tank” the one who set this event nor the Govt “Think Tank” anyone will ever know.
But whoever he is /or the group is, they sure want Anwar to win & become the PM, why? Current view - winning battle for Anwar and checkmate to BN.

p.s. Emmhhh maybe some group in BN really wants Anwar to take over sooner than expected. Well its politics…hahahhaha…. After all issues over, Anwar will hug Dr.M, Pak Lah will kiss Dr.M’s hand, KJ & Kamaluddin will hug Mukhriz and Ong Ka Ting will kiss Chua Soi Lek, Samy Vellu will kiss Karpal Singh & Kit Siang…normal mahhh ….their career anyway. So damn good film and with several great actors as well. I hope Hollywood Directors or whoever the film maker can learn these superb masterpiece and acting skills from Malaysia.
